Oct. 15th, 2006 09:43 amI went to New Seasons and bought some stuff for baking. I'm all excited, making these pumpkin cookies I made a few times last year and just loved.
Except that near the end, I knocked an unopened bottle of almond extract into the canyon between the counter and the stove, and it shattered. There goes $5.29. And now the kitchen stinks of almond extract. Thank gods I didn't need it for what I'm making! I'm usually more careful about leaving stuff too close to that edge. Lesson definitely learned.
