Free Will Astrology:

Recently, less than five percent of the world's astronomers voted to demote Pluto from a planet to a "dwarf planet." Some Scorpios were alarmed, since Pluto is the heavenly body that traditionally rules your sign. My opinion? Don't worry. I agree with mythologist Roxanna Bikadoroff, who says there's poetic justice in calling Pluto a dwarf planet. In fairy tales, dwarves are often magicians who possess hidden storehouses of riches and act as agents of creative transformation. They typically live beneath bridges, which are symbols of transitional thresholds, and are masters of in-between states. They bestow blessings on anyone who is able to pass their demanding tests. This is an apt symbolic description of you at your most potent, which I expect you to be during the coming weeks.

Heh, that's something I've thought about...."no fair! That's my ruling planet! I'll have to go back to sharing Mars or something!" *LOL*

I feel like shit.

Last night as I was getting off of work, I noticed that some of my joints were sore. It got worse and worse, until I was laying in bed kinda whimpering until four advil kicked in. There was only a couple of hours between when I noticed that stuff was starting to hurt, and when I started lying there and whining. Ugh.

I spent most of the night moving around and rolling over, trying desperately to find a way to lie down that wouldn't hurt. Around one am I finally fell to sleep for real.

I haven't been in nearly as much pain today, but I called in sick anyway. I didn't eat anything last night, and I've been trying to eat a bowl of cereal, but it's making my stomach hurt. Also, my digestion is being super-noisy, which is freaky.

My supervisor was a real jackass about my calling in sick.

So, no coven ritual for me tonight. I should probably go back to bed soon.

It's probably not the flu at this point, which was my first concern. I looked it up online, and it's highly unlikely to be an infection from my IUD. I'm not throwing up, so it's not the bug that [livejournal.com profile] jenhowell had. WTF?

You are sociable, outgoing, energetic, and lively. You prefer to be around people much of the time. Stressful and frustrating situations can often be upsetting to you, but you are sometimes able to get over these feelings and cope with these situations. A desire for tradition does not prevent you from trying new things. Your thinking is neither simple nor complex. To others you appear to be a well-educated person but not an intellectual. You have some concern with others' needs, and are generally pleasant, sympathetic, and cooperative. You like to live for the moment and do what feels good now. Your work tends to be careless and disorganized.

Well duh.

Tasty: mash up some very ripe strawberries in the bottom of a glass. Add ice and 7up. Mmmm...

[livejournal.com profile] rikell42 fetched me a thermometer yesterday. And crackers and 7up today. He rocks.
