aprilstarchild: (all your fault)
I didn't get to bed earlier last night than I have all week. WTF? When did my body decide that five hours of sleep was plenty? I keep expecting to be more tired than I am, but a couple of Red Bulls (which isn't even that much caffeine) has been enough to get my through each day. I'm tired when I get home, but I don't feel sleepy until close to midnight!

*is confused*

On the other hand, I'm in the nasty habit of getting nothing done when I get home from work, so maybe that's related.

The only thing I know for sure at this point is that tonight, no matter when I get to sleep, I'm taking a benadryl and getting at least eight hours, dammit. Yet another reason to look forward to my own apartment--yes, [livejournal.com profile] rikell42 and I do fit on a twin mattress, but any time one person moves the other wakes up. Makes me think of that silly kids' song "there were two in bed and the little one said 'roll over, roll over,' so they all rolled over and one fell out!" But, yeah, I have a double mattress. It'll feel huge in comparison by the time I move, let me tell ya. That mattress was getting thin, though, maybe I'll shell out for a new one when I move.

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] vgnwtch posted this on [livejournal.com profile] veganpeople, and that's all good news. Yaaay for less animal testing. I'm hoping it'll catch things that would otherwise slip. Those cox-2 inhibitors were approved based on animal testing and very little human testing, and it wasn't until they were on the market that they noticed that some of them tended to, y'know, kill people.
