rikell42 picked me up after work and we stuffed ourselves at Karam. Then we walked to the waterfront...I've wanted to walk/bike parts of that circular trail that follows the waterfront for a while now. From Stark around to the Steel Bridge and South on the Eastside, going West on the Hawthorne bridge, and then back up to Stark and then the car. Nice. Don't know how long a walk that is.

We saw a sea lion, of all things! Swimming back and forth in one spot. We kept trying to tell him which way the Columbia was, but I don't think he (she?) was listening. We also, early on, saw two geese with some babies. I got all girly about it, they were so freaking cute!!

It was a lovely night, all told. :^)
