Made that mushroom soup from La Dolce Vegan again, but twice as much. Also put more than usual of
something in it, as it was quite spicy. My dad loved it. I also made biscuits to go with. Mmmmm....baked goods.
My coworkers like my cupcakes.
Go me. :^)
There's a vegan baking class on April 8th at Whole Foods. It's $35, though. Dang.
The Freddy's near my parents' house does not have a Ticketmaster. Suckage. But I have the cash, so tomorrow I'll head down to the one on Canyon Road. It might work out anyway, I need to call
mechalith and ask if he wants to go, hahahaha, the answer to that is probably a big fat DUH.
The UCC has a new ad. You can see it (it's called Ejector) along with the ones they had last year, over
here. I don't attend my local UCC anymore, but they're still a kickass Christian denomination.
New rule: Until I move out of my parents' house, I'm not buying any more books or clothes. I bought a purple shirt today, but only because I think it might be the proper shade of Aurora purple. I'm not taking the tag off until I run it by the person who checks the color/style of our clothing for concerts. Because gods only know, I need another purple shirt... I find it amusing that I have so many of them, and only one, other than this one (which is in a box somewhere) is "Aurora" purple.
I may buy another bra though. I only have two that really fit right now, and one of them doesn't go under most of my work shirts because it's got lace and it's black, so it tends to show. That and I really don't need to wear a push-up bra to work.
I'm also limiting myself to one CD a month. When I get my next paycheck, it'll be the lastest NIN album. If anyone feels like burning me copies of the other ones (the only one I have is The Downward Spiral!) I'll be happy. *puppy dog eyes*
And when I go out dancing, I'm taking a ten or twenty dollar bill with me (depending on where we're going) and limiting myself to that. I need to order cheaper drinks anyway. Lemon drops, and Red Bull and vodkas, aren't cheap.
Those things alone should save me quite the wad of cash. Yup.
I'm going to get something in which to write down everything I spend my money on. I want to know where the hell, specifically, all that money is going. I've had my job over a year now, taking home around $1200 a month, I should've paid off all my debts and been out of here already.
Speaking of going out, does anyone want to make a Noir trip this weekend? Pretty please? Or the Fez, but we haven't been to Noir in ages. I'm going nucking futs for lack of dancing.
