I should probably update about my actual day, eh?
When I got on the max, it was crowded. Not just with people--signs take up a lot of room. *lol* We all got off downtown and made our way towards the rally like we were on some sort of pilgrimage. I found the information booth and asked about the community sing. The woman there didn't know what was going on with that but "are you looking for the women wearing purple?" Hahaha.
We only got to sing one song as a big group, oh well.
Stacy wasn't there. I sent her a text message, her dad is in the hospital. That really sucks.
I managed to stick with the other Aurora women for the most part. We ended up splitting off into groups, I was walking with five other women. At one point we did sing a bit, and someone walking nearby said, "You ladies all sounded just lovely...*looks at our shirts* Oh! You're in Aurora!"
I overheard some people talking about Naka-Ima, which is taught at
Lost Valley as Heart of Now. Talked to them for a bit about how I'm planning on doing that workshop at some point in the summer. They had some drums and a cowbell and were obviously having a good time, and it was infectious.
Eventually I left the march...I was tired. I went to Whole Foods and bought groceries, and then to Music Millenium where I bought a copy of DM's Violater, and the new Covenant album. I figured that even if I had got a copy from someone, I would have eventually bought it anyway if I liked it enough. The list of CD's I'd like to have is too freaking long these days. I've gone back to carrying Ye Olde Discman, which is why I bought Violater. My mp3 player is sitting by my dad's computer, gods only know when he'll do something about it. *rolls eyes*
