I think this counts as a date
Mar. 12th, 2006 06:56 pmSo, first of all. In this picture, Stacy is the girl on the left. Just so you have a reference of some kind. Or...something. Heh. When
rikell42 and her coworker Jeff and her and I went to Karam last night pre-ritual, we were being silly, and I showed her my driver's license, and she squealed because I'm wearing a chorus shirt (same as in the above picture) in the photo.
Today after she picked me up, we went back to her house to meet up with the other person we were hiking with. St. Johns isn't as far from my house as one would think, because of the St. John's bridge and back roads. She lives in a really awesome house (hardwood floors, huge kitchen, plants everywhere) with some other women.
The hike, on the Leif Erikson road/trail in Forest Park, was quite nice. We all chatted a great deal and admired other people's dogs and got rather muddy. After that Stacy and I went to the Paradox, and I had the special: biscuits and gravy with mushrooms and onions and tempeh. She had ravioli, and after that we split a piece of carrot cake, oh gods that was tasty. She drove me to my sectional rehearsal (which went rather well, I'm not stressed about the four songs we're supposed to have memorized this Thursday) and then she came in when it was over and we socialized I got to hold and pet one of the rabbits that lives there. OMG. Rabbits = cute! And soft. And they shed a lot like whoa. Then she drove me to the max station.
And I have another date with her Wednesday night to eat Cuban food, because apparently she knows a really good place and they have numerous vegan options that aren't so spicy that my nose will run all day while I drink a ton of ice water or something.
I was telling her about pirate gathering and told her she could come along and she smiled and asked if I was inviting her to share my tent. I pointed out that I do have a rather comfy air mattress. *evil giggle*
So, yeah, I had a great day, even if I was sore from my other weekend activities, and had a headache a good portion of the day. Yay advil.
Last I checked, I was about 100 posts behind on my friends list, so I might get working my way through that now.
