Went to that area of town, in theory, to get the picture that matt_nothing asked for. But it was already dark when the bus got me there, so I just stayed on and went to the mall.

There are stores on every corner of that intersection now, btw. Including the Gentle Dental where I got my wisdom teeth pulled.

Hot Topic has a whole assload of shirts I want. Like one of Gir that says "I love them tacos, I love them good," or one that says "I (heart) boys in eyeliner."

They have a whole bunch of shirts now for tv shows I used to watch when I was waaay younger, on Nickelodeon. They have shirts for You Can't Do That on Television, and Salute Your Shorts, and Hey Dude (which had what's-her-face in it, before she was Xena, no shit!). WTF? Most of the kids who shop at Hot Topic were toddlers when those shows were on, or they weren't even born.

Just a heads-up: PaganFaire is March 11th, at the World Forestry Center (the zoo max station). Heather Alexander, near as I can tell, will not be there; which makes me rather sad. I was even listening to her live album today at work. *le sigh*

The theme is pirates. Yes, I'm serious. The ritual afterwards (which I admittedly usually skip) is about the oceans, and will have pirates. I've been told to invite all the pirates I know, but someone (*cough* nikkicoco777 *cough*) hasn't approved my application to the ship's yahoogroup. So if another ship member could pass the invite along to the list, I'd be grateful.

I'm going to wear my pirate gear. Even though Heather won't be there to sing High Barbary or anything like that. :^( Boooo!

Speaking of pirate gear...I've made a list of stuff I want for the upcoming "season," as it were, and hoooboy. *lol* I need to start sewing. I already have quite the stash of fabric, I just need to get on it. Also, I need to call Katrina and see if she's found her old bodice that might fit me. There was a leatherworker at PaganFaire one year, who said he'd work with fake leather, and Vegan Erotica has fake leather by the yard...I need a belt (the woven wool one I got from Tyson ages ago doesn't really work, although it is a neato belt) and a pocket would be nice...

I seriously need to start digging around in boxes. I have several bodices I can lend out to people for Pirate's Gathering that have always been too big for me. They're well-made and reversible. One comes with sleeves, even.

EDIT: Heather's playing one of the Lucky Lab brewpubs on March 20th and there's plans to have pirates take over. *rubs hands together evilly* singswithtrees, mechalith, whatcha doin' that Monday? EH? EH?
