Chorus was tiring. But I think that was mostly because I've been going to bed between nine and ten every night this week and most of last week. So when nine hit I got a bad case of the yawns, which I tried very hard to hide behind a binder full of sheet music.

There was stuff I was going to say, dammit. I've forgotten.

Oh! Now I remember. I stopped by ...was it Everyday Music or Music Milennium? Whichever's across the street from The Crystal Ballroom. I bought three CD's, which I believe is the most I've ever bought in one day. I bought the new Fiona Apple album, and her older one "When The Pawn..." because I didn't have it yet, and there was a used copy. I also bought the new Depeche Mode album. I haven't heard the whole thing, and I read a review somewhere stating that it's similar to their older stuff. I admittedly haven't heard a lot of their older stuff, but from what I've heard, they are indeed correct. I do not see this as a bad thing, personally. Wooo!

I never buy that many albums at once. I like really getting to know my music. I didn't buy the new Franz Ferdinand. That'll wait at least a week so I can really listen to what I have now.

The person who invented the packaging for CDs deserves their own special level of hell. I had a bitch of a time getting them open, and there's still sticky stuff. The new Fiona Apple album is a double-sided one--one side is a DVD of the music videos!! That kicks ass. I believe it also has the album itself in surround sound. My parents DVD player is going to be abused at some point in the near future. Hopefully when I'm the only one home so I can sit in the middle of their fancy stereo setup and have it up nice and loud.

I couldn't remember if Sunset Lanes was nonsmoking or not, and I was thinking about it on the way home from chorus. "Well," I say to myself, "all my smoker friends stood outside to smoke..." but then I remembered that, at the time; all my smoker friends were underage. So, I still don't know. Especially since the bowling alley has changed ownership since then anyway.

Whether I am River or Janis Joplin for Halloween depends on one thing currently: whether my mom's sewing machine works. If it does, I'm River. If not, I'm Janis. Blargh.

I'm not dressing as Kaylee because I wouldn't know where to get the clothes she wears. So there, people.

Random bitching about work!

A doctor was totally bitchy to me today. She's had a chart since the 12th, and another office needed it for an appointment. When I went upstairs and walked into her office and asked for it she got nasty and said she'd send it down when she was done with it that afternoon. You've had it for over a week and you still haven't done the dictation, asshole. Meanwhile, Tigard needs it for another appointment, one which you probably told her to book because it's a diagnostic ultrasound! STFU!!

I've been yanking charts out from under doctors all week, and they or their MA's will complain that they haven't done the dictation. Well, I'll leave the paperwork (lab results, coding crap, doctor's notes) with you, and I'll route the chart back to you, m'kay? I love telling them, in a sugar-sweet voice, that I'll put a router on the chart for it to be sent back so they can do the dictation, because the MA's themselves ignore routers and know it, and now that's their problem.

I'm very tired. Bed sounds very good right about now. *whew*
