On the other hand, my paid account runs out in a few days. I should probably pay for it myself for once. I've never had to before--every time before, I'd announce that my paid account was running out, and someone (either anonymously or not) would magickally buy me more. Very strange.
I swear the only reason I have a paid account anyway is for more icons. I don't use one of the S2 layouts, although I was planning on switching when they added a few new ones. I didn't memorize the name of the one I wanted, though. Plus I have such a short quantity of patience for that kind of thing. Just getting the colors right on this layout took too much mental effort. Blargh. Maybe I could keep the color scheme when I switch over. It was one of the layouts that made it so each post had the icon you used next to it. Which would probably help the people (I know there's been at least one in the past) who reads my LJ on my actual page and not via their friends list, when I mention my new shiny icon and they're sitting there scratching their heads thinking WTF?

koschei23 until dragon_mintz comes back from her SG1 game (I have such a thing for geeks--whenever she does something truly geeky like this I get all giggly). Saturday me and said girlfriend are going to the coast. Sunday she's coming with me to the party at the Funny Farm for all the September birthdays. FireJam is that night, and I have Labor Day off as a paid holiday. Kick ass.
Tomorrow morning, however, I have my follow-up with my dental surgeon. My gums are all wonky and freaking me out. You'd think I'd have learned not to go looking at them in the mirror all the time, it just makes me anxious.
