May. 25th, 2005 10:21 pmI am, almost certainly, not going to have any more time to post before Pirate Gathering. So, fair warning. I'm gone until Monday evening.
I'm looking forward to this, yay!!

dragon_mintz and I went to Washington Square. I'd left my sheet music at home so I didn't have the color swatches, but I saw a shirt that I was pretty sure was the right color for thirteen bucks at Mervyn's and bought it. It's not perfect, I'm going to run it by the "clothing goddess" tomorrow. It's also not something I'd normally pick for myself to wear, but if it works, I'm happy.
We went to The Limited and I was tortured, tortured I tell you. They had the most wonderful skirt. It was very short denim and had little sparklies down the sides. It fit! Oh gods yes, it fit. I always have to wear longer shirts with the denim skirt I've got because it goes all the way up to my waist and is not very flattering. This one hung just where I like it without riding up in the back or hanging too low or any of that nonsense. It was also $50, so.....no.
I did but a little tank top, of the kind I've been seeing everywhere and coveting madly. It's a little camisole-type top with lace edging. Black with ivory lacy bits. It even has a shelf bra inside, and it was half off so I only paid $13 for it. Yaaaay! Something to wear to the Fez!!
Now if only I could find cute shoes that I wouldn't fall over and die in, that are fake leather. *le sigh* For now, it's always Docs. I have an affection for kitten heels but I know I'd fall flat on my face.
What else was I going to say? I don't remember. My new headphones suck. I can't find my actual Discman despite ransacking my damn room this morning. I took 24 hour allegra this morning, so why am I sitting here indragon_mintz's computer room and having a tickly nose?? It's summertime and my hair is really greasy and I'm annoyed. I have a big zit near the mole on my face and it reminds me of a binary star system. The Cure's greatest hits is fun to listen to. Hot Topic didn't have anything I wanted, except for a really pretty corset-y top that didn't fit right, dammit. Peach schnapps, vodka, and 7up, is a very girly drink. Girly drinks are pretty much the only kind she has. *giggle* Also, I am now the proud owner of a floaty purple shirt. Which while it is the exact right shade of purple, would not ever in a million years be appropriate for concert.
