What I thought was a clothing crisis for my concert has been averted. I found out that I can get away with wearing all black as long as I have a purple scarf that's the right color. Someone in my section has one and can give it to me for the concert, and black dress shirts are much much easier to find. I'll even be able to find short-sleeved ones this time of year. Yay! I'll still look a bit like a dork, but I won't be nearly as hot as I would be in a velvet dress.

I need to find out what kind of jewelry is allowed. Somehow dangly earrings sound like fun.

So I'm still going to the mall tomorrow, but my chances of finding something inexpensive and appropriate have become much much higher, thank gods.

Hm. That means I can stop somewhere and buy an air mattress. Anyone know where I can buy a double-sized one for cheap?

WTF is it with Jehovah's Witnesses lately? They've apparently started a campaign to bug people at bus stops. One started talking to me while I waited for the bus to retreat on Saturday morning, and another got me this morning on my way to work.

Thankfully I have a nice polite way of getting them to leave me alone: I tell them I talk to a Jehovah's Witness at work. Which, technically speaking, is true. We have something like three in our office, and I talk to them all the time. However, it's almost never about anything even remotely religious. *lol*
