Yeah, it was already mended in several places in addition to be cut off and sewn back on, which is why I'm not more upset about it.
I'm gaining weight. Most Pedalpalooza stuff is not long-distance riding, and many events are "bike somewhere and eat something" or "bike somewhere and drink beer" kinds of things. I haven't stepped on a scale recently, but a good number of my clothes are really tight, some to the point of unwearable.
I don't mind that I've gained weight in terms of my looks or anything like that. Pretty much the only reason it bothers me is because I like my clothes and wish to keep wearing them. Plus I can't afford to buy any more!!
