I must relate a conversation I had a couple days ago.
I was in line at the Coffee Time on NW 21st. The woman in front of me has black hair and a black hat and a black coat and boots, and a divine smell is coming off of her. After she's got her drink and I'm done ordering, I tell her, "Whatever you're wearing smells wonderful."
She laughs and says, "It's Gucci for men, believe it or not, and I got it at Ross of all places."
"Ever heard of Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab?"
"Yeah, but I want to smell them before I buy them..."
"There's a place down the street--"
"Scarlet Garden?"
"Yup. They have a bunch. Oh, and they'll have a booth at Convergence, I've been told."
"Awesome! It makes sense they'd have a booth there."
Bwah ha ha. I think it's totally funny to run into a random stranger, and talk about Convergence and BPAL.
Best smoothie ever:
Put a few almonds in the blender and grind fine. Add a tbsp of ground flaxseeds, a banana, some soymilk (less than a cup?) and six frozen raspberries, and blend. If your bananas aren't ripe enough or you use unsweetened soymilk, a squeeze of maple syrup is yummy.
Damn, but that's tasty.
I have a rat on my shoulders. She appears to be playing with my hair. Oh holy hell that tickles.
