Last night, [livejournal.com profile] rikell42 and I watched Endless Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. We'd both seen it before, but it's so dang good. I think it's oddly romantic, too.

Also, we made pesto. Mmmm...pesto. Still good even with slightly burnt pine nuts.

[livejournal.com profile] jenhowell came back from her family reunion last night, and the bunch of us went to the Zine Symposium. I bought a few things, including some zines (of course) and pins and stickers for my future bike. Including a small white one that just says "I *heart* Portland".

We went to a workshop on collective zine making, and we got to put some pages in. [livejournal.com profile] jenhowell will go back tomorrow, and pick up a few for us. The woman leading the workshop sang with Harry and the Potters when they were here. Interestingly, I'd worn my "Save Ginny!" t-shirt. Right when we got to PSU we ran into a guy wearing the exact same shirt. Totally freaky.

I ran into Rylee there! I haven't seen her in over a year. We were friends back when I was full-time at PCC, and we had a few Sonnleitner classes together. She was doing henna, and she gave me her business card.

[livejournal.com profile] rikell42 and I were going to daytrip Cannon Beach tomorrow, but he's decided he'd rather leave this afternoon and spend tonight there as well. Yaay!!

He's making late lunch/early dinner right now, and we'll use up the last of the pesto. I should cut up some fruit to put in yogurt for dessert.

Life is good.
