A few days ago I sent this:



to rikell42 and asked him if I should do that where he works. The idea still gives me the giggles.

Okay, so that was totally random. *LOL*

Oh, and one of my Jehovah's Witness coworkers has informed me that fornication is apparently as bad a sin as murder. Hahahahaha.

On the other hand, her and I had fun informing another coworker who was recently "saved" and attends a huge Foursquare church (I asked her once, out of curiousity, what the four squares were, and she didn't know and couldn't figure out why I'd ask...WTF?), exactly where most Christian holidays' dates come from: Christmas from the Winter Solstice, that kind of thing. She asked me why I knew all that stuff and I just said I loved history. Which is, y'know, true.

Aaaand now I'm reading the Wikipedia entry on Foursquare churches. Damn.

Can I be amused that more of my coworkers know that I'm bisexual, than who know that I'm pagan? (Exactly one of them knows that--the one who's Buddhist.)

I was told as a young Mormon that adultery is only slightly better than murder or rape, with fornication being a step below that (because no marital vows are involved).

There are a couple of different churches which would see that as an equal sin. Or as the catholics would put it ... both are mortal sins, putting your soul in peril.

I'm not saying I agree with it, just that there would be many religious institutions besides JW that would feel that way.
