I *heart* my mp3 player!! OMFG!!
*does the happy dance*
*does crappy belly-dancing to Brothers of the Baledi*
I have a bunch of CDs in the garage from when I grabbed some boxes from the Funny Farm. Soon they will be on my player. I am a happy camper.
ruby_wings got me a FryDaddy. Yup. I'll be deep-frying. I got her a vegetarian Japanese cookbook. DJ got her a sushi set, including a rice cooker and serving dishes. So tomorrow? Totally Japanese feast. There will be sushi, both vegetarian and non. I found a recipe for vegan tempura, so there will be tempura.
I made Stuffed Butternut Squash and Mighty Miso Gravy from La Dolce Vegan for dinner. Very Good. For dessert had brownies (from the same cookbook!) a la mode--I had some Soy Delicious in Vanilla.
For breakfast my mom made "normal" pancakes, and I made banana pecan pancakes (quick, guess which cookbook). My mom liked mine. My family also thought my squash looked tasty. And my mom set aside some potato salad sans egg, and I put Vegenaise in it.
Yup. I love to eat.
So, tomorrow: Brokeback Mountain, and Japanese food here at home. Woohoo!
