Wow. I'm glad I checked my email before running off to the max--my concert's been canceled!! And I wouldn't have gotten the phone call, they only have my cell phone number. You know, the one that's dead.

It's less than an inch here, but seeing as Catlin Gabel is basically at the top of West Burnside/Barnes Rd, they didn't want to risk it, especially since they don't know how much snow might fall in the next three hours.

But now my music section leader has my actual phone number--I called her up when I noticed the email said they were going to call people.

Damn. I wanted to sing.

Sorry to hear that your concert was cancelled. Hopefully it will be rescheduled soon - once this snow/ice storm go away.

You can always sing at home some more until then! :)

Not the same. First of all, I'm an alto and therefore don't usually have the melody. Secondly, the only people to hear me are the cats and dog.

There are two public schoolteachers in my chorus. Our "green room" was the kindergarten building, and the two teachers were in awe. They both said they'd kill to work somewhere like that.
