technically rigid gas permeables aren't hard lenses. I tried both. I wonder if they even make those type of hard lenses anymore. Hey, I guess if they don't, then gas perms actually are today's hard lens. Hmm. Anyway, I got used to mine but it does take time. After a little while the callous will make it so you won't be able to feel it much more than a regular soft lens. At least that was me. The one thing that you have to watch for with those as opposed to soft is that they canpop out unexpectedly. Like when you open your eyes really wide. So there you are, shopping for produce and minding your own business, when you look up and see that Elijah Wood is looking over some zuccini about 3 feet away from you and you are so surprised that you make that wide-eyed surprised face and your lenses *pop* right out. Isn't that fun?
