(no subject)

Just finished watching the first episode of Firefly.

Favorite line so far:

"Captain, can you take the helm for a minute? I need this man to tear my clothes off."

HHAHAHAHAHAHA OMG I can be so predictable.

Of course the first time my dad notices that I'm watching something, it's when Inara (did I spell her name right?) is partially naked. Grr.

Anyway. Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] galactagogue for burning me the copy. I'll watch the next one soon. Possibly tomorrow. For now? Shower and bed.

Meant to use this one because it makes me smile.

I loved how the crappy-ass lawn chair she dragged back in with her, was one of the ones everyone has now, with the frayed plastic webbing and the aluminum frame.

That, and I loved the parasol, of course.

Yes!

A good portion of my friends are Firefly fangirls/fanboys. I was the only one, going into Serenity, that hadn't seen all the episodes and read the comic books.

ooohh. Someone who saw the movie without seeing the series...what did you think?

I thought it was great! Hence my watching the series on DVD. :-)

I always wondered if the charcters would come off the same in the movie as they do the in show. It seems like someone would have been confused by a couple of charcters. glad you liked it.

I wasn't confused at all, with the exception of not figuring out that Inara is a "companion." But anything that confused me, I figured out when I saw it the second time. Also, it was probably due to my not understanding people very well when they whisper in movies.
