Memo to my cat: I'm a vegan.
*giggle*
So I gouged a hole in my foot last night. I stepped on the dog. I'm not sure if I gouged myself on the dog's claw, or a hidden carpet tack, or what. But I carved out a small chunk of the ball of my foot. So of course this week at work I'm doing a task that involves me standing up all freaking day, and I forgot my advil. Gaaah.
By the time I got home not only did my foot hurt, but the ankle did too, because I'd been trying to step on the side of my foot all day to avoid the wound.

silverrose79 came over earlier, and we watched the DVD half of my Fiona Apple album. It's really neat--there's a truly goofy music video, where the entire time, some big guy with a beard is doing the lipsyncing, while she just watches him. Sometimes she looks like she's going to laugh, sometimes she looks pissed. Cracked me up. Then there's a live performance on there. I forgot how tiny she looks onstage. She also seemed very nervous, and at one point she starts a song from her last album ("Fast as You Can"), screws up, laughs, and has to start over.
