This may be my own prejudice, but I just think that lever harps are easier to play. *shrug* Cheaper, certainly, and a lot less intimidating.
A friend of mine had an aunt who did custom sewing, and eventually stopped doing bridal stuff entirely because of too many run-ins with "Bridezilla"s.
