So here's that awesome hat that fits under my helmet:



The hat is navy blue in person, it looks black here. Also, hey, it's my kitchen.

It's a tiny bit tight, if I pull it down all the way it pinches the ear parts of my glasses between my head and my ears. Hard to explain. I just have to remember not to yank it down.

It's very very warm. And definitely covers my ears and keeps them toasty when I wear my bike helmet. It's so thick, though; that it dampens sound! Which is fine when I'm biking in traffic, I can still hear it well enough to know what's behind me etc. But oh lord, Shawn and I went grocery shopping the other day, and it was super windy, yeah? So between the wind whistling through his helmet straps (if you've never experienced this, trust me, it's loud) and my hat covering my ears, any conversation we tried to have sounded like, "WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"

I hope you're having a Merry Christmas. I need to start getting ready to take off for my parents' house, including packing up all these dang cookies.
