This is why I need a job and that when I get a job, I need to set aside money specifically for clothes.

Near the bottom: a skirt plus socks or tote bag set, for about US$80 (plus shipping). One of the skirts is the apple print....they haven't put out anything with that print for at least a couple of years, and it's probably the print I covet the most.

I'd prefer it with white or navy instead of pink, but gah, I'd take pink.

I'm not super into the sweet lolita stuff, or exclusive prints, ...except for that goddamn apple print. I'd metaphorically kill for the jumper-skirt or one piece dress of that print in navy.

Waaah! *flails*

Have I mentioned that a skirt in that print would normally be around US$150?

Note to self: REI downtown is hiring. Apply tomorrow (well, technically today, whatever).

To do list

Eat
Load up bicycles with trailer and baskets and stretchy things
Bike up to roommate's office on SE Belmont and grab boxes
Bring them home
Clean up living room and make space for filled boxes
Finish skirt

At some point, make dinner for me and Shawn and go on Midnight Mystery Ride. Haven't done it in months, but Shawn's leading it. Thankfully the forecast tonight is fairly cold but otherwise pleasant: Low of 35F, partly cloudy, low wind.

Tomorrow we're going to The Bicycle Show. And possibly Momentum magazine's Portland launch party at the Jupiter Hotel.

Sunday morning I'm tabling for Filmed by Bike at said show.

And then I get to pack all week. (yay?) At some point Shawn and I have to go pay the rest of our move-in costs...our official day to have the keys is the 15th.

Next Friday is the opening night of Filmed by Bike. Shawn and I have tickets for the 11pm show and the street party starts way earlier that day. DJ Anjali and the Incredible Kid are deejaying, so that should be fun.

Saturday is wrapping up all my packing and getting food ready. Sunday is my Move By Bike.

STRESS STRESS AAAAAUGH

Oh, and btw: money? HAHA. I have $245. I still haven't paid my last bit of rent for here ($300) and I'm supposed to help Shawn pay our move-in costs. My unemployment is $163 a week. Which is about what I get in food stamps each month.
