The thunderstorm today was awesome. Half the office was freaking out, the other half were slightly fascinated and entertained, I was the one who saw lightning and went "woohoo!!" and started hopping around. Yeah, I was useless for my last hour of work today.

Rode home in the pouring rain. At one point decided to give up and take the bus, but after standing in the shelter long enough to see two lightning strikes, the rain slowed down enough that I decided to ride home after all, since I was already soaked to the skin.

The storm will temporarily calm down my seasonal allergies, which is wonderful. I'm hoping it'll cut some of the humidity we've had lately as well.

Found out I can't get another Adderall Rx from Kaiser. Fuckity. I have, like, a week and a half's worth left, since I'm working now and all that. I'm going to call a number tomorrow that Outside In gave me, the RN at Kaiser said she'd look up sliding scale type stuff and call me with it. There's no fucking way in hell I can do the most boring and tedious filing job ever, without my Adderall.

Speaking of horrible temp jobs, I had a voice mail from the agency today, apparently the company wants to keep me on longer. Oh fucking christ.

Today I made the mistake of skimming some of the papers I'm filing. I didn't even know it was still legal to have 35% interest on a loan. Oh, and repossessing cars creates a buttload of paperwork. I'm starting to feel like I work for the moral equivalent of a payday loan company.

Tomorrow morning: Shower and pack before leaving for work.

Tomorrow after work: Ride bike to Lloyd Mall MAX station. Take red line to Parkrose, ride to covenmate's house for ritual. After ritual, ride bike to Shawn's house.

Saturday: Shawn and I are going to Sauvie's Island for the day. I haven't been there yet, not once, which is ridiculous. Plus, as Shawn points out, I need to start doing longer rides. I hope we find a place selling strawberries. You people who settle for the ones from California are nuts. I never buy them (although I've been known to eat them). The ones from Oregon might not be as pretty, but are much sweeter and actually, y'know, taste like strawberries.

Speaking of strawberries, I cut some up into a bowl and then made chocolate pudding. Sugar, cocoa, margarine (coconut oil would be even better), soymilk, cornstarch. Except I forgot that DUH, it would HOT. So now I have a container of pudding chilling out in the freezer so I can put it over the berries.

Mmmm...pudding.
