*doing the happy dance*

Just checked online. My unemployment checks are "paid" as of yesterday, which according to the website, means they'll be mailed Monday. And, as I suspected, my take-home in unemployment is a little more than I was bringing home from my temp job.

I'll be able to get my checking account in the black and pay half of rent with the two weeks' worth I'll get this time around. Next week's will pay the other half of this month's rent.

I am looking forward to eating something other than oatmeal, popcorn, pasta, rice, and whatever Shawn buys for me. SOYMILK, y'all. And kale. Mebbe a magazine, even.

Okay, I gotta stop reading the Pedalpalooza calender or I'll get so excited I'll have trouble sleeping.

Good lord. 190 events. I'm definitely skipping any of the rides in Vancouver 'cause I'd have to ride to Vancouver first. There's one guy leading too many rides who I don't like, so I'm skipping any of his. Shawn has a ton. Solstice night is gonna be....interesting. The Solstice Ride starts at nine pm and goes all night. The next morning is the first Sunday Parkways. And then at 3pm Shawn has a Dead Freeways ride, and it's not the one I've been on before.

I get tired just thinking about it. So I'll end on that note and go to bed.
