So I called up and found out why I haven't gotten any moneys.

The unemployment office sent a letter to Emerald Staffing asking how much money I made on my last job, and they haven't responded. Unemployment sent that letter in early May!!

Excuse me while I blow smoke out of my ears. I should have called unemployment weeks ago, I guess. Now I'm going to call Emerald Staffing and try not to yell at them.

ETA: the staffing agency says they always answer those requests right away, therefore they must not have received it. So now I get to be on hold for twenty minutes again, to ask unemployment to resend it. Hell, half the time the call doesn't even go through. Fuckin' A.

OH MY GOD.

After what feels like an hour on the phone on hold talking to a woman who was kinda bitchy about it and seemed to think I was a complete idiot, and talking to the temp agency again, I have established that I have to go to Emerald Staffing tomorrow (out in fucking Lake Oswego) and pick up my pay stub, and then fax it with a cover letter to the proper people.

*headdesk*

ON THE UPSIDE: I know why I'm not getting unemployment, and I can fix it. Yay!!

Yay!

I remembered that I had a .pdf of my pay stub. I sent it as an attachment to my roommate's work email address, with a cover letter, and she's going to fax it from there, so I don't have to go to Lake O tomorrow. Woo!
