(no subject)

I have three paychecks in February.

I'm making an appointment for Sammy to see the vet, and then I'm scheduling her surgery as soon as possible after I get paid on the first of February. A tumor removal and a spay so I won't have to go through this (with her, anyway) again!

Now, hopefully her tumor won't get too big or develop any complications before then. Keep your fingers crossed for her, if you can.

I'm getting tired of taking rats to the vet. :^(

1. Just now, a coworker noticed a little box in my bike basket outside, tied up with pink ribbons. On the outside it said, "Please take me! This is a gift for you!" I opened it, glitter went everywhere, and I found photocopied and cut-out bits of Rob Breszny's book, Pronoia is the Antidote to Paranoia: How the Whole World is Conspiring to Shower You with Blessings.

That's just so cool. Apparently the person who put it there was a young man with some sort of horns on his bike helmet. Whee!!

2. Christmas day, my brother Chris picked me up from the max station. The music he was blasting sounded...slightly familiar. I said, "Who are you listening to?" and he replied, "I really like this band, I only have this CD and I play it all the time, it's Apoptygma Berzerk, have you heard of them?" I laughed like crazy and told him that boy oh boy, did I have some CDs for him to listen to if he liked that kind of music...I need to find all those mix CDs that alicia_stardust gave me over the last couple of years. And I told him I was dragging his ass to Ember's one of these days.

3. Speaking of Rob Breszny, here's my horoscope:
