(no subject)

I have so many things to do tonight, I could die. But I finally figured out the toe to those slippers. *rolls eyes* I think I may do one of each just to have something to give, and then finish them before the end of the week. They don't involve that much actual knitting.

When I left the house this morning, there was still no light in my room, the hallway, or my bathroom. And the socket across the room is out, too; but not the one on a side wall. Something on the circuit is having problems. I hope Jim got someone out to fix it today or something. Taking showers by candlelight is all right, but trying to find clean clothes by the light of a few christmas lights and the dim light coming through my window (like I had to do this morning) is frustrating.

In addition to knitting, I have to go to Powell's to buy gift cards and cards and mebbe some wrapping paper--although I may cut up brown paper bags like I've done before. Yay for recycling. :^)

Oh, and I have to bake another poundcake for tomorrow. I still have a few slices left over from Saturday night! >_< After that, no more for a while. I'm making something else for the party on Friday. Dunno what. Maybe I'll just buy stuff and be nice and lazy.

Hell, I dunno what I'm eating at my parents' house tomorrow. I should figure that out tonight.
