So last night was so much fun, it was crazy.

There was only about...eight? of us, which isn't bad considering the word didn't get out until two days beforehand. We sang at Pioneer Square. We went to Waterfront Park and sang to people watching the ships go by (one of which was done up like a fire truck and had a siren and everything!). We went to Palio's cafe (in the roundabout of Ladd's Addition) and sang to them (there was only four people, but they applauded).

Peacock Lane is shorter than I imagined but people stopped to listen to us and we had a lot of fun.

One woman had brought vegan hot cocoa! It was yummy, if a little too hot for me to sip much.

After we were done singing we went to Laughing Planet on Belmont and talked and laughed for about an hour. At one point me and a guy named Brian (who lead the Movie Mystery Rides and who looks vaguely like Mal from Firefly, and who works for Intel at Jones Farm in Hillsboro) were trying to describe Invader Zim to everyone else, and laughing so hard it was difficult to talk. Then we started talking Firefly. Then Burning Man came up--there's a regional "burn" called Soak coming up in the not-too-distant future, apparently.

It wasn't even eleven pm when I got home, so I thought I'd be fine today. Oy! I really need to ride more often--my legs are slightly sore and I'm tired. When I got on my bike to go to work my body was like, "Weren't we just doing this?!"

I do worry that I talked too much and/or monopolized the conversation. I was having so much fun and was so excited, and I tend to get out of control when that happens. And then I had a dream last night that I was working for Food Fight!, but my supervisor there was the supervisor I have here at Old Town Clinic, and she was going to fire me for talking too much. o_0
