Oct. 17th, 2007 06:01 pmBeing sick sucks. I've started coughing; that's never good.
I was too brain-fuzzed from being ill to study, and so I kinda bombed my test last night. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. I still have a chance to raise my grade, we have one more exam and then a midterm. But I really wanted to start school with something good, y'know?
Went to lunch today with lots of people including
axiom but had to leave before everyone else to get back to work on time. Being around him is kinda odd, especially when lots of friends are around, because even after 5+ months of not really even talking much, I just *bang!* feel like he's never left. It's like we left a conversation dangling the last time I saw him and just picked up where we left off. It's weird to realize it'll probably be a few months before I see him and
alicia_stardust again...I'm hoping to visit in a few months, probably with
dragon_mintz. My inner high-school-self demands a picture of me under the street signs for Haight-Ashbury. Even though, yes, there's a Gap there now.
Tonight for dinner: Several cloves of garlic sauteed with whatever mushrooms are still good (mmmm...shiitakes), then add a can of crushed tomatoes and a few leaves of swiss chard, simmer until cooked, serve on spaghetti. If it's half as good as I'm thinking, it'll still be great.
