(no subject)

Mum is delightfully weird. I bought the album Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy yesterday. It's rather atmospheric and dreamy.

I have a lovely faint bruise on my left foot now. Takes up like half of the top of my foot as well as my big toe. It's slightly swollen, too. I'm fine when I'm barefoot, but most of my shoes hurt. Thankfully I can wear my soft faux-suede pirate-y boots without much trouble, because they're black, and I'm still going out tonight, dammit.

I'm at work on a short break. I didn't get here until ten-thirty so I'm staying until two-thirty. Then I have to stop at Whole Foods and get something black and white food-wise for underthethrow's shindig. I'm thinking salt and pepper chips, they're sorta black and white. Hey, better than bringing Newman-Os. If I'd had time I coulda made black and white swirled cupcakes, c'est la vie.

Bah, I wish I had time to swing by Saturday Market and grab some more socks. Several of my fave pairs have acquired holes recently, including the red'n'black striped ones just yesterday. :^(
