Mar. 17th, 2007 05:05 pmJust got back from the Post Secret guy talking at Powell's. Bought the third book (I have the second one but not the first one). Both are signed, yay!
During the Q&A someone said that one of their secrets was in one of the books. When she saw it at a bookstore she was both freaked out and excited. Nobody asked her which one was hers, of course.
He had some really sweet and/or funny stories about people and their postcards, like the person who gave the link to the site to their friend who was thinking about suicide. The friend saw she wasn't the only person who felt that way sometimes, and got help. Or the woman who wrote down six secrets, and decided to leave them on her boyfriend's pillow instead of mailing them in, and he came into her work and proposed marriage.
Waaah I got a teary-eyed a few times.
The place was packed, btw. I had to stand in the back even though I got there half an hour early.

5minutelimit and Doug. The only real connection between St. Patty's Day and pirates is probably drinking, but that's okay with me.
