(no subject)

I've written a resume, and have it saved to a disk, and applied to three places on craigslist, including one job as a receptionist at Planned Parenthood. That would totally rock, but I probably won't even get a call back, as I don't speak Spanish, and it was listed as required. I figured it was worth a shot, y'know?

Tomorrow I think I'll start hitting individual hospitals' websites. OHSU is an obvious choice. Is Legacy Immanuel that one in NE? Any other places y'all can think of?

Dinner tonight: Marinated tofu and roasted brussels sprouts, both from Vegan with a Vengeance. Mm, mm.

(no subject)

I finished the hat I was working on at Hecate's Sickle. I've gained some skill at mattress stitch (how you sew side-by-side seams together), but I still hate, and am not very good at, sewing in the ends.

Ugh. Does anyone else loathe that part? Anybody?

Damnable stripes. ;^p

After I stuck the hat on Jarrod's head, I started poking around for something to make the matching scarf with, and came up with metal straight needles, half a size smaller than the ones for the hat. I was feeling goofy, and he was sitting in front of the computer, and I stuck the needles through the top of the hat so it looked vaguely like he had knitting needles through his head.

The second I sit in front of the computer, he puts the needles through my hair, which is pinned back. Touche.

They're totally still there. I can see my shadow on the wall.

Jarrod's been taking multiple pictures of Lucy the Cat. Lucy has this look on her face that says "WE are not amused," and even though she's otherwise laying still, her tail is moving in this way that seems to say, "Touch me and DIE."

Don't mind me, this post is for my own purposes

Finish coffee
Take shower, get dressed, take adderall (note the time so I know when to take more)
Do dishes
Make sure bike is in good shape (oil gear? reinflate tires?), ride around hanging up Aurora concert posters in SE Only problem is, I went into a few places I really like and ended up buying things *headslap* but I have two peoples' gifts sorta taken care of. I say "sorta" because now I have yarn and needles, but I still have to knit the gifts!
Lunch Mmmm...ramen. Except it was "healthy" ramen so I added my own MSG.
Practice my music for tonight's rehearsal
Check craigslist and a hospital's website, apply for at least three jobs, or until my brain turns to mush
Figure out dinner? Do we still have enough leftovers from Monday?

I think I can have that all done before rehearsal. Yup.
