aprilstarchild: (She's Our Witch)
I had my coven retreat this weekend. A couple people couldn't make it, so it was less formal than it would have been with all of us. There were a couple visits to the ocean, and a new age/metaphysical shop in Lincoln Beach that was huge and cool (even if the people who run it obviously buy into that "indigo children" bullshit), and ritual, and cookies (both vegan and non) and other yummy food, and some alcohol, and some "alternative intoxicant," and a puppy named Izzy who was just the sweetest black lab puppy ever.

And now I'm home and freshly showered, and [livejournal.com profile] rikell42 has the most recent Final Fantasy game, which he apparently played for a good portion of the time I was gone. *lol* So far this works out great--I use the computer, he uses the playstation. He's so fucking cute sitting there. Holy shit. You guys have no idea.

Anyway. *ahem*

I'm glad we got back this early. I have time to chill out and/or get things done before going to bed and going to work tomorrow.

You've Changed 56% in 10 Years

You've done a good job changing with the times, but deep down, you're still the same person.
You're clothes, job, and friends may have changed some - but it hasn't changed you.

Au contraire, I think I'm a completely different person now in a lot of ways.

Also: My LJ friend [livejournal.com profile] jedirita reviewed Snakes on a Plane. The review is far funnier when you keep in mind that this woman is a UCC pastor. Who writes Star Wars and Harry Potter slash. OMFG. I love her sometimes. *lol*

I especially like the line, "...the body count was quite high, and delightfully gruesome."
aprilstarchild: (ADD!!)
Oh the irony...I'm having trouble concentrating long enough to read an article about ADD.
