Jul. 23rd, 2006 11:32 pmI will make a longer post when I'm not so freaking tired. But for now:
We got in a car accident (due to someone else's idiotic negligence) on the way down. It was pretty minor, all things considered. Nobody was hurt, and
rikell42 will probably end up with a better car than his current one. Which still runs, but smokes quite a bit, and has no real headlights, and a cracked windshield.
It was so fucking hot. I've never been to an event that had so few people in actual garb. Nobody wants to wear lots of layers when it's close to 100F outside.
It's amusing and disturbing to watch Cardinal Sin and Sable get their backs (among other things) waxed.
I really really need to count how many drinks I've had, and to carry around water to drink between them.
I really, really, really owe
dragon_mintz. And
thorongil8 as well.
Oof. I still feel a tad ill. My hands are shaky, too. The heat doesn't help--the truck I rode back in, doesn't have AC. And I wasn't allowed to sleep, so that I could keep Cherie awake.
Wikipedia's got an entertaining entry on alcohol. Unfortunately, parts of it are just reminders of late last night. Bleh.
Anyway. Off to finish my spaghetti.
