I have black hair now.

I don't know how even I got it--there wasn't a lot of the dye to go around. If there's obvious patches I've missed, I'll make another trip to Uwajimaya's in the next week and buy two boxes and do it again. It's a deposit-only dye, so I'm not worried about damage. But I have a suspicion that I'll be fine--this stuff is meant for gray-haired Japanese women, and their hair is usually pretty thick.

Wooo! Need to clean up the bathroom. Despite my efforts otherwise, there's dye spilled in various places, and it'll probably take some bleach to get it out.

Once I died my hair with Flaming Manic Panic. It made the bleached-out parts of my hair, well, flaming red. And it made my bathtub look like I'd slaughtered something in it.

Need a bigger pointy-tipped bottle. The only one I found at the craft store was 1 oz., so I had to refill it several times. The dye itself is a powder you mix with water, and at first it's just tan, but within a minute or two it turns dark brown. Freeeeaky.

Now this icon is a tad more accurate. :^)

My original plan was: Go to jenhowell's party, come back to my parents' house, put on my ridiculous get-up, catch a ride to Noir. But all of the westsiders are unavailable for rides.

I am not wearing my outfit on public transit. Grrr.

I'll figure something out.

In other news: my hair is dry. It's hard for me to tell, but so far it looks very evenly very black. It's actually a tad darker than I would have liked it, but dye does tend to fade (even permanent dye), and it's nobody's fault but mine that I started reading and forgot what time I put it in!

I'm going to hit up my mom for sleeping pills and go to bed.
