Sep. 22nd, 2005 06:25 amI really don't want to work today. But if I call in sick, my dad (who doesn't work on Thursdays) will get pissy. Anyone who knows my dad, knows that it's one of the lower levels of hell to be around him when gets pissy. I wish he worked today.
But the idea of doing an entire day's worth of work, and then going to my chorus rehearsal... gah. I can't think of anything more exhausting than pretending to be okay until 9:30 or later. And I'm not going to miss rehearsal, we're only three weeks into the term. I do need to remember to bring a pencil this time, grr.
Besides, it's been my experience that no matter what else is going on in my life, chorus makes me feel many times better, if only for that three hours. Must remember to beg a ride from Gayle.
I normally have a short attention span and low tolerance for frustration, but for the past few days I've had zero. Anything that requires any mental effort at all feels like too much, and I get snappy and cranky.
