aprilstarchild: (At Long Beach WA with dragon_mintz)
I wasn't going to get online at all before I went to bed, but I must share this or explode with the giggles.

So there's a website I found somehow on my travails along the internet. I've given the URL here before while indulging in fannish giggling. It's called Elijah Wood is Very, Very Gay. The site isn't very large, and it never fails to crack me up, especially the photographic "evidence," and all the hate mail the site gets, all from people who seem to have ignored the "disclaimer" link that basically says, "I don't know if Elijah Wood is actually gay, and it's none of my business, and I made this site to make fun of the fucktards arguing over it!"

Elijah Wood has seen said site. Apparently, it's his "personal favorite." over here is a short blurb about it, but just the quote that it's his favorite website, was in the Living section of the Oregonian today. I was the only one in the break room, so nobody was there to witness me "SQUEE!"-ing like the fangirl I am.

I'm willing to bet money that the site's author knows about this, but all I could do was picture some random woman somewhere bouncing all over the place with glee.

I know I would.

Got my archival CD's of my June concert. The sound quality is only okay, but us singers sound wonderful! I'm rather pleasantly surprised, actually. I'm always afraid that we sound like an unauditioned chorus, and I don't think we do.

One song for this term has the most insanely complicated rythyms and melody, with every section singing something different than the others. After she thought we each had a particular reasonably memorized, she had us all get up and walk around (mostly in pairs), singing at each other, so we could hear how our parts blended. I didn't actually go anywhere, the woman to my left has a broken ankle, so I kept her company.

So freaking tired. So going to bed soon. Oy vey!

I gotta start asking Gayle for a ride to Beaverton again. The first bus doesn't show up for twenty minutes after chorus lets out and then I have to wait for the max and then walk home....getting a ride to Beaverton Transit Center would shave something close to an hour off the trip, seriously.

One more random note: On a whim I went into Everyday Music, and actually found a used copy of Radiohead's Kid A. Woot, I finally have a legal copy that wasn't a gift from an ex-boyfriend.
