Woo up late on LJ. Life is good.

The Boo (aka ninja_pidgeon and sagcat's three-yr-old) is asleep on the couch. He crashed while watching A Bug's Life, which was why I turned it on to start with. *lol* Every now and then he wakes up, sees me, looks around confusedly, whimpers a bit, and then falls back to sleep. I don't know what's going on there--he doesn't look like he's in pain, just confused.

Just so the next time I see you I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she wears mismatched undergarments." I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. My supervisor did something really cool. She decided to give thank-you cards to everyone in the department, and set out a huge bowl of halloween-style candy. I was all bummed, because none of that stuff is vegan, yes? My note had a "PS: I know you don't eat normal candy so I left something in your box." Sure enough, right there in my inbox is a box of Sour Patch Kids, which at some point I must have mentioned that I like. Yay!!

tee_moss: I mentioned an HP fanfic a bit ago that was really good and non-slashy. ninja_pidgeon will probably enjoy it too. It's Maruaders-era, kinda long but good. It does contain the idea of Sirius and Remus being gay but doesn't get at all graphic. It's told from James Potter's POV. And it's over here.

There were some boxes at work. They had copy paper in them, so they were nice sturdy boxes with lids. I put them in the supervisor's office with a sticky note saying they were mine. Lo and behold, I clock out and they're gone. The people in my department knew I wanted them because I'm moving, so wtf happened? GRRR!

I think Boo made a stinky. Last time he woke up I asked if he did and his reply was, "a little." Did he want to change his pants? No answer. He falls back to sleep. Hm. Now what?

Have officially arrived at my parents' house. The bulk of stuff I brought with me was clothes and food. My parents hope they'll eat healthier while I'm here. *lol* I'll probably cook occasionally, generally they don't do sit-down family dinners anymore (Chris and Ashlee both work, her at a sushi place and him at Freddy's) so it's mostly fend-for-yourself. However, I think it would be fun to cook for them here and there.

I had to show my dad the Vegenaise. Sure enough, he was amazed. It tastes exactly like mayo. Kick ass.

I have to haul my crap upstairs and put sheets on the bed and all that stuff. I forgot hangers etc but it turns out I have no closet space anyway.

My parents thought I was making more money than I am. They didn't realize I only got paid twice a month. Thbthbthbhtbh!!
