(no subject)

I got a lot done this afternoon post-work. It's amazing how much better I do when I remember to take my damn afternoon Adderall dose. In any case, I went to the Wednesday Beaverton Farmer's Market (smaller than on Saturday, but still not bad) and got strawberries and raspberries (I'm determined to eat them until I'm sick of them, because I won't eat them again until next year), and some walla walla onions, and chard, and beets, and heirloom tomatoes.

Went to New Seasons and picked up a few things, then came home and cooked for a bit. Nana got home as I was cleaning up, thank gods, because she really doesn't like the smell of my cooking. I've refrained from telling her that the feeling is mutual. Apparently she's not a fan of garlic and onions, and I'm sure as hell not a fan of meat.

I wanted to make sure I had enough to eat for the next few days so I wouldn't end up eating crappy food or eating out (too expensive!). I've noticed the sugar cravings get the worst when I'm just plain hungry, so I'm trying to have enough to eat while I'm at work. Especially since this week, I'm pushing the cart, and passing two candy dishes eight times a day. I'm very proud of myself, I didn't take any today. Didn't buy pop either. Go me!!

I also did my laundry. I rock eight ways from Sunday, I tell you what.

So, tonight I need to take a short shower (damn it was hot today, when I was walking around downtown Beaverton in my goddamn work clothes) and get to bed and then tomorrow morning pack everything up for the next couple of days, including going dancing on Friday, yay! I get to wear my short skirt out for the first time, finally. Woo, look, I have legs.

And then, Saturday? I have my first set of fillings at the dentist. Bleh.

And I am ridiculously glad to hear that sagcat is okay. Sending good thoughts etc to him and ninja_pidgeon and Boo.
