Jun. 7th, 2005 09:26 pmAll next week, the people who normally give me a ride, all four of them: are going to Bend for a camping trip. Me? I'm scheduled to be at work at 6:30am every day next week.
Well, shit.
Anybody got any ideas?
Went to Costco today. Spent eighty dollars and then found out they were out of generic Adderall. But my antibiotic for my skin requires them calling the doctor to get the refills authorized anyway, so I just have to go back in a few days.
Was able to bribe Tyson to come and get me by buying him duct tape (covers my gas costs with him for a while as well) so I was able to buy more than usual. Including a huge box of Bisquick (no way I'm going to eat that many pancakes, I must be crazy), some cereal, and a bunch of canned tomatoes, which are a staple food for me.
Costco has, both in asceptic and refrigerated containers, Silk brand soy milk. Except it's in Vanilla flavor, which I find too sweet. So close....yet so far. Dammit.
They have CD's for cheap though, including stuff that's just out. Yay! I know it's not new, but I finally own a legal copy of the Modest Mouse album Good News For People Who Love Bad News. I used to have an illegal copy from
infernarl but lo, I lost it.
singswithtrees called to remind me of the ship's meeting this weekend. It's Sunday at three pm, which means I can do all the other things I've got planned over the weekend and not miss that. And Mr. I-Can't-Spell-His-SCA-Name (does it have an "r" in it or not? Athir? Arthir? WTF?) asked whether I was going and then told her to say hi to me. Wheee!! *giggle* OMG, I *heart* consensual non-monogamy. Although when
dragon_mintz does get to a pirate event, the lack of tents (I have one. Neither her or him do) might make things interesting. *lol*
Speaking of which, as of right now, I'm spending Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights with
dragon_mintz. Hee hee hee life is good.
Although I still don't know what to do about the weekend of Faeryworlds and Sea Dog Nights. But according to Tyson, the events are very close to one another, both being outside of Eugene somewhat. So if I can find willing willing person(s) with a car, I might be able to go to both, even if I only spend a night or two with the pirates.
I told my doc that my allegra hasn't been doing anything for me lately, and now I have samples of zyrtec, supposedly better on indoor allergies. Let's hope that includes, for me anyway, cats.
Yikes! Time to do laundry and get my sorry butt into bed.
