(no subject)

For the record, I don't have a hangover.

However, my equilibrium is off. I don't know why. When I woke up earlier at eight thirty or so I was still slightly intoxicated. Now I just have no sense of balance, which feels very strange.

I had a ton of fun last night. And I did get my vegan donuts, thank you. I just now ate them--when drunk I wasn't in the mood for them, but I knew I would be later. Poor Jeff--as we were getting into the car, we went by the Schnitz and I started talking about how I was going to sing there, and then I broke into song. Badly. Singing a soprano part. It was one that 5minutelimit had sung so of course she started trying to help, which didn't really work.

Did get to the Fez. For four songs. *lol* Anybody up for going next week and actually staying for a while? I like to dance. Wheeee....

My mom turned forty-six last night. My family excluding DJ but plus Chris' fiancee Ashlee, went to the Olive Garden (before all of the above happened), where the noodles don't have eggs (I called and checked beforehand, I am a Vegan Superstar, go me!) but the pomodoro isn't all that great. More garlic, people--and it shouldn't have any tomato paste, that's for marinara.

What else was I going to say? Grrr I don't remember. Today I need to go to It's My Pleasure and Lush and then the knitting store in Hillsboro and then I have to make vegan kugel and help with Passover. Tomorrow morning I have church and then there's a bellydancing thing at the Washington County Fairgrounds. If I have any money left I'm getting a veil or a jingly belt or both. I'm thinking I'll start lessons during Aurora's break. When Aurora restarts I can decide whether I can handle both.

Note to self: Call Sisterspirit and tell them I can help with their Seder Tuesday night.

I went to the bank the other day, and I can get all my crap out of collections with the money I have now. I won't be paid off, but I'll be out of collections, which is the important thing. My Victoria's Secret credit card account is apparently still open and usable o_O too bad I don't know where the damn card is. He told me that I might want to get a secured credit card to build credit and all that. Grrr I don't want one.

I am such a Lush-head and it's all you people's fault

Passover dinner was fun but tiring. Also, I think I can figure out a way to make vegan gefilte fish. Stop laughing, I used to love that stuff. Once while tree-sitting I came back for a break and ate a whole jar of four pieces with horseradish and everything. I laughed my ass off when I happened to catch a bit of Fear Factor and the woman refused to eat it. It's like, um, it's just normal fish and smashed crackers. Or as Tyson puts it, "It's the spam of the sea!" which isn't quite true because it doesn't have nasty chemicals.

5minutelimit and I have to beware going anywhere together. I am officially broke right now, I believe. On the other hand, I have quite a bit of Lush stuff and some Clinique. I bought some Veganese conditioner, a little trial bottle size. I want something to carry around when I crash at friends' houses. Jungle is wonderful but sorta tricky to use while traveling because you don't want to put it back in the tin still wet!! Plus when the bar is new it's too big to fit in there.

They're discontinuing Narcotick. *snif* But they're bringing in something with grapefruit juice. Hopefully it'll be like the shower gels they have now, where you can use them for both shampoo and body soap. Because it's far too handy to be able to carry two teeny bottles and have shampoo and soap and conditioner.

I have a teeny sample of Enzymion, which I hope I like. The salesperson pointed out that they have a rather liberal return policy. So if I spend the thirty bucks on it, I have a month to decide whether I actually like it. If I don't, they'll give me a full refund. Kick ass. I put some on right there, and I think I like it already--I put it on at three pm and my face is still not greasy.

I'm actually taking better care of my skin these days...but I'm also on the minocycline, and I'm noticing some improvement. Which makes me Ms. Happy.

I wanted so many more things than I bought. I want Silky Underwear dusting powder, for one. And Arabian Nights hair stuff. And about eight bars of soap. *lol*

infernarl had given me a 25% coupon to It's My Pleasure that he got when one of his classes went there on a class trip. Heh. Now I have a Hitachi Magic Wand. Jesus that thing is loud. Also, I long ago ran out of sockets. Sucky. I have to unplug the my bedside lamp to plug it in. That was probably TMI, but oh well. I'll probably actually use it as a massager here and there. *lol*

There are new LJ styles available, I've never done any of the S2 styles....but one of them looks really neato, and it's one where the icon I use for each post shows up, which is something I'd like to have.

Speaking of icons: I never play this game anymore. But it's a good icon for when I feel busy, I think; so I'll keep it. Plus, I can hear Cherie playing it.

Tomorrow there's a bellydancing thingie at the Washington County Fairgrounds. Deanna called to tell me in case I didn't already know, and we might hang out there, which would be nice; I haven't seen her in ages. I was hoping to have cash to spend there, but alas.

My headphones have finally given up, after being abused for several years. *snif* RIP my headphones. I need new ones, and soon. Those weren't bad for $20, but if someone knows of really kick-ass (and sturdy!) headphones in that price range, let me know. These were little Sony over-the-ear jobbies.
