Feb. 1st, 2005 07:02 pmI don't think I've been online since Saturday. I'm scared of my email box and my friends list. *quakes in fear*
Work today was stressful--but not because anything I was doing was inherently stressful, but because everyone around me was going crazy. I was like the oasis of calm, quietly freaking out. Thankfully, the last hour of the day I was doing something where I could sit down the whole time and have my headphones on.
I'm in love with Franz Ferdinand. I have this thing with new CD's, if I really like them. I listen to them over and over and over andoverandover... I think I've heard the song "Take Me Out" two hundred times since I bought the album. The rest of it is good too, thankfully. The second track sounds eerily like 60's-era pop. A great deal of the rest is very 80's...not that I mind or anything.
I've done this since I got my first discman in junior year of high school. I listened to Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band for....oh....three months. *shrug*
What else to say.
infernarl's new apartment is neato. And not just because his bedroom closet takes up an entire wall and has mirrored doors. I'm sorely considering asking Deanna just how set she is on living in Portland. *lol*
Bleh. In theory I have eight thousand things to say but I can't remember any of them and I have a pile of email ahead of me.
Random side note: John Robbins' Diet for a New America is one of the best books, ever.
