So, yeah. The computer was down Friday night. And stuff.
Yesterday and today I worked the raffle at Sisterspirit's Yulefest. Very tiring, mostly because the same four or kids would NOT leave me alone. Like, they'd just hang around the booth asking the same questions over and over until I started getting short with them. "When's the next drawing?" It's every half hour on the half hour, like I told you. I'll ring the bell, remember? They would obsessively check their numbers, too. On the other hand, there was a couple that bought like forty dollars worth of tickets and weren't there ever again, they won like six things. But the tickets have their name/number, so I can get ahold of them.
I won a huge pair of fairy wings with holly leaves in glitter on them. *big grin*
Kori was driving me crazy because she would tell me the most obvious things. Also, one of the performers was fond of wandering off in the middle of conversations.
But hey! I got a lot of hours of service. And I got to see Ariel Tibbens twice and Heather Alexander four times.
Also, matrices suck. I worked on my math for a while last night, and after an hour and a half got halfway through 4.2. I know how to do it, really, but the mathmatical computations and jumps are really hard. What do I do to -4 to make it 1 without messing with the 0 to its left? ARGH!!!
