I am a self-panicking device. The second I think I can stop panicking about one thing, I panic about another. Yeay! I returned a library book and renewed two more! Yeay! I got most of this section's math homework done! Yeay! I've plotted out my assignments for two classes!

BUT: My jaw hurts. Like a big bleeping idiot (there are no swear words strong enough for my idiocy), I didn't get my wisdom teeth pulled over the summer. Now, for SURE I have insurance until the end of this month, but I don't know if I have it in November. I called the dental surgery people in mid September, and the lady almost laughed at me when I asked for an appt before the end of October. Not to mention that, now I don't have TIME to get it done during October. Every weekend I am busy, I now have a part-time job (I start Tuesday, btw), and I have an assload (okay, two) of term papers to do. Please, God, let me have insurance until November.

My wisdom teeth are a big deal, because they're hurting me. My jaw pops a lot and I have trouble chewing. Occasionally I can FEEL them crushing the teeth in front of them. All of teeth have gotten a teeny bit more crooked. They're impacted, there's no way around that. Now, once my insurance expires, after six months, I can apply for Oregon Health Plan. But last I heard, they had cut all the dental services. And even when you COULD get dental, it was a pain in the royal ass. I remember it took Kara like three months to get an appt.

Also, my financial aid has STILL not sent a promissory note for me to sign, and when I tried to do it online, it said I didn't have an account with them. Can we say stomach-churning? And, for some reason, I didn't get paid for my accrued vacation hours from Freddy's on my last paycheck, so I have less money than I thought I was going to have.

On The Other Hand, I saw a harp player at the library today. Really nice guy. And I was all proud of myself because I could tell his harp was a Dusty Strings. With 36 strings, full sharping levers, a built-in pickup, and that pretty celtic knotwork plaque. Also I could tell that his hand position was different than most. He played some Celtic stuff, but he also played some middle-eastern sounding stuff, so I bought a CD of the middle eastern stuff. What's really cool, is a lot of it is Israeli, and one tune I recognized. It had vocals...wait! I've sung this song before! I took it up the hill to Cheries, and she recognized it too, and suddenly we were looking through her prayer books looking for the lyrics. Woo hoo. I need to email him, he said he'd be on the lookout for an affordable 26-string with case, as I said I couldn't find anything but those horrible rosewood ones made in Pakistan on ebay.

Please, Gods, let me get my wisdom teeth pulled w/out interrupting my life too much, and get new glasses and contacts, and a harp and lessons. That's not too much to ask, is it?
