1. I had a fancy bicycle fitting today where I got to ride a fake bike where everything is movable. It was awesome. I'll be writing about it on my bicycle blog (here!) in the next couple of days.

2. I bought Lululemon capris meant for cycling. They're super comfy for riding in and have little reflective bits here and there. But Lululemon's habit of having any given item for a short time is irritating. It's meant to force folks to Buy It Now!, which adds to the irritation--they're artificial shortages. Which means I was able to find a pair on sale, but in my size they only had the pale gray ones left. And oh lord, they are booty-tastic. Lululemon's stuff tends to be (they are, after all, frequently credited as the original source of women wearing yoga pants and leggings as actual pants), but oh my god. I am self-conscious about the way they put my ass on display. The woman working there insisted she couldn't see my actual undies through my pants (just the panty lines) but I'm not so sure. Shawn seems to like them, of course. They make me wish I had more tunic-length tops.

3. So, Ravelry, the social website for knitters/crocheters, has a million specialized forums that have little to nothing to do with knitting/crocheting. One of them is for Doctor Who fans, of course. And one of the threads there is just people drooling over the various Doctors (mostly the new ones, although there is a woman there who really has the hots for Six) and other characters. It's called the Gallifrey Ladies Auxiliary High Tea and Smut Society. The women there are the kind of funny that make it dangerous to eat or drink anything in front of your computer. Especially since they post stuff like this:

(Along with stuff that is quite a bit more risque. I have seen plenty of David Tennant's ass at this point. I still haven't seen any of his episodes.)

4. Speaking of Doctor Who, here is a cartoon drawing of all of the Doctors in their underwear. It is very silly. The best part, though, is the commentary underneath and with supplementary cartoons. The image/caption combo she did of the 4th Doctor made me laugh so hard I was wheezing.

5. Shawn and I are making our way through the 4th Doctor's episodes at what is a reasonable pace. Problem is, I have the desperate urge to just binge on them. But Shawn is thwarting me, and insisting we should watch them together. I don't know when we'll start watching the new stuff. Hopefully soon, so I can participate in all the LJ comms and other sources of online squeeing.

6. Portobella (the extremely delicious but pricey vegan Italian place near our house) makes their own black pepper vodka. They make a drink where it's mixed with strawberry puree, ginger, and sparkling wine. It is amazingly delicious but so very odd....you have to sip it slowly, because a few seconds after you sip it the pepper hits your mouth like whoa. So your mouth goes, "ooh, sweet, yummy, OH SHIT THAT'S HOT."
